Robert and Michelle Smilk of Newtown, along with Peter and Barbara Vignola of Washington Township, N.J., announce the engagement of their children, Bryan Stuart Smilk and Katelyn Renee Vignola.

Bryan, a graduate of Council Rock High School, attended both Bucks County Community College and Devry University. He is currently employed by Apple Inc., in King of Prussia. Bryan is also the founder of Fired Up Productions, a full-service mobile entertainment company.

Katelyn, a graduate of Washington Township High School, attended Gloucester County Community College. She will graduate in June with a bachelor's degree in nursing from Thomas Jefferson University.

Sharing in the couple's joy are Bryan's brother, Joshua Smilk, and Katelyn's brother, Peter Vignola Jr.

Katelyn is the granddaughter of Lynn and Carol Schoepske, and Min Vignola and the late John Vignola Sr. Bryan is the grandson of the late Adele and Harold Kalaminsky, and the late Herman Lichtman.

The couple is planning a November 2012 wedding.
