Drs. Hermine and Larry Shusterman of Merion Station announce the engagement of their son, Alexander Lloyd Shusterman, to Jaclyn Kramer Young, daughter of Ellen and Steve Young of Pepper Pike, Ohio.
Alex holds a degree in psychology from the University of Pittsburgh and is currently completing work toward a Juris Doctor at the Duquesne University School of Law in Pittsburgh.
Jaclyn earned a degree in human nutrition from Ohio State University. She is a registered dietitian at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
Alex is the grandson of Fran and Hy Shusterman of Penn Valley, and the late Ethel and Samuel Stein. Jaclyn is the granddaughter of Doris Kramer of Beachwood, Ohio, and the late Julius Kramer; and Mardelle and Howard Young.
The couple, who currently lives in Pittsburgh, is planning an October wedding in Cleveland.
