Neil and Betsy Ostroff, Ellen and Sid Gordon, and Howard Silverman announce the engagement of their children, Laurie Ilyse Ostroff and Douglas Mark Silverman.

Laurie, a graduate of the University of Maryland, works as a pharmaceutical-sales representative for Schwarz Pharma.

Douglas graduated from York College, and is a loan officer with Interbay Funding.

The couple is planning a November wedding.
