Temple University's Kornberg School of Dentistry is seeking funds to send up to four dental students for a short trip to Israel as part of a new partnership with the Hebrew University-Hadassah School of Dental Medicine.
In early December, both schools signed an agreement to promote academic progress, cultural enrichment and friendship by exchanging faculty and pre- and post-doctoral students, as well as collaborating on scientific research.
Amid Ismail, dean of the Kornberg School, said he will visit the country in April to review the dental faculty at Hebrew University. He will return in June to participate in the "Bridge to Peace" conference in Jerusalem organized by Hebrew University-Hadassah and Al Quds University.
"It is only through understanding and peaceful solution to conflicts that we can revive our humanity," e-mailed Ismail.
