10:00 a.m. – A performance of “I Never Saw Another Butterfly” by the Wolf Performing Arts Center. Presented to the public through The Butterfly Project, the production teaches lessons about diversity and spreads the message of hope.
11:00 a.m. – A Holocaust survivor presentation by Trudy Gompers, author of “Prisms of Light: Reflections of Shattered Glass.” Trudy was born in Vienna, Austria in 1937. Three days before Kristallnacht (Night of Broken Glass), Trudy and her family boarded a train to London, England. Some of her family members were never to be seen again. During the war, Trudy was sent to an island internment camp at the Isle of Man. Trudy is an Elkins Park resident.
