Doris and Al Kaplan of Atlantic City, N.J., and Boynton Beach, Fla., announce the birth of their first great-grandson, Logan Carter Weeks, on Sept. 11.

The baby's parents are Jackie and Dylan Weeks.

Logan is the grandson of Marcy and Hal Axelrod, Arthur Weeks and the late Pamela Gibb.

Joining in welcoming the new arrival are Aunt Lysee Axelrod and Uncle Dustin Weeks.

Logan is named in memory of his maternal great-grandfather Herman Axelrod.
