Roger D. Wolf, 75, a retired manufacturer who was active in the community, died Sept. 18 of lung cancer at Abington Memorial Hospital. He was a resident of Elkins Park.
Wolf grew up in New York City, where he worked for his father in the fabric business. He came to Philadelphia in the 1960s and worked for a plastics manufacturer.
He later worked for his father-in-law's company, Keystone Screw Corp., a manufacturer of metal fasteners in Willow Grove, and eventually advanced to company president. He retired in 2003.
Wolf was chairman of the board of Fox Chase Bank; president of Philmont Country Club in Huntingdon Valley; and served on the board of Abington Memorial Hospital. He supported many charities, including the Abington Police Athletic League and the Women's Golf Tournament for Breast Cancer.
Wolf is survived by his wife, the former Janice Arkison; sons Elliot Wolf and David Wolf; stepchildren Deborah McNew and James Lapp; and six grandchildren. He was predeceased by stepdaughter Robin Roy in 1987.
