Edna B. Gellman, 97, an 80-year member and benefactor of Reform Congregation Keneseth Israel, died Nov. 16 at her home in Jenkintown.
Gellman, who endowed a trust fund to support Keneseth Israel's religious school, was an active member of Hadassah and the City of Hope for more than 50 years. When she was no longer able to travel, she listened to the congregation's Sabbath radio broadcasts.
Gellman is survived by a daughter, Barbara Kates; a son, Stuart Gellman; five grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband of more than 50 years, Samuel F. Gellman.
