Mrs. Elaine Felderman of Elkins Park announces the engagement of her son, David, to Lauren Beth Bell, daughter of Ruth and Michael Bell of Roslyn, N.Y.

David, son of the late Dr. Eugene S. Felderman, is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and the Temple University School of Law. He is an attorney with Spector, Roseman & Kodroff, P.C., in Philadelphia.

Lauren is a graduate of Vassar College and the University of Pennsylvania's Graduate School of Education. She is a third-grade teacher at Media-Providence Friends School.

The couple is planning an April wedding in New York City.
