Dr. Barry and Elyse Brenner of Southampton announce the engagement of their daughter, Stephanie Megan, to Dr. Scott Adam Epstein, son of Randi and Allan Epstein of Succasunna, N.J.

Stephanie earned a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology and business at the University of Pittsburgh. She is a campaign/ marketing associate for the Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh.

Scott earned a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering from the University of Delaware and a Ph.D. at Carnegie Mellon University. He is a post-doctoral researcher at the University of California at Irvine, where he conducts research related to air quality.

The couple is planning a September 2012 wedding.
