Dr. Elliott and Debbie Lewis of Bensalem announce the engagement of their daughter, Allyson Jamie, to Jeremiah Robert Rusnov, son of Johanna Rusnov and the late Samuel Rusnov of Harrisburg.

Allyson, a graduate of West Chester University, earned a bachelor's degree in elementary education with a minor in special education. She is teaching seventh grade at the Baldi Middle School in the School District of Philadelphia. Allyson is enrolled at Holy Family University, where she is working toward a master's degree in special education.

Jeremiah, who earned a bachelor's degree in political science from Temple University, works in the Minority Business Enterprise Council for the city of Philadelphia. He is enrolled at Norwich University, where he is pursuing a master's degree in criminal justice/justice administration.

Allyson is the granddaughter of Reah Ticktin and the late Sidney Ticktin of Philadelphia, and the late Milton and Bernice Lewis of Philadelphia.

The couple is planning a July 2007 wedding.
