Dr. Elliott and Debbie Lewis of Bensalem announce the engagement of their daughter, Stefanie Ilene, to James Kenneth Waltz, son of James and Lisa Waltz of Langhorne, and Judy and Charles Vengoechea of Bensalem.

Stefanie, a graduate of West Chester University, earned a bachelor's degree in communications with a minor in journalism. She is in her final year at Thomas Jefferson University, where she is pursuing a master's degree in occupational therapy. Stefanie is currently working with a child with autism.

James will graduate in December from West Chester University with a bachelor's degree in elementary education.

Stefanie is the granddaughter of Reah Ticktin and the late Sidney Ticktin of Philadelphia, and the late Milton and Bernice Lewis of Philadelphia. James is the grandson of Thelma Wilde and the late Norman Wilde of Stuart, Fla.; and the late Hower and Helen Waltz.

The couple is planning a July 2007 wedding.
