Stacy (nee Leibowitz) and Daniel Swartz of Hamden, Conn., announce the birth of their daughter, Julia Caroline (Nehama Zeva), on Aug. 11.

Sharing in their happiness are grandparents Rochelle and Steve Leibowitz of Bensalem, and Linda and Carl Swartz of Columbia, Conn.; along with great-grandparents Roma and Leo Lydynia of Montreal, and great-grandfather Saul Caroline of Willimantic, Conn.

Joining in welcoming Julia are Aunt Lauren Leibowitz, Aunt Melissa and Uncle Michael Swartz, and Aunt Marla and Uncle Jonathan Swartz.

Julia is named in loving memory of her maternal great-grandfather Herman Leibowitz (Nehemia) and her paternal great-grandmother Sylvia Caroline (Zeva).
