The Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia hosted 550 of its most loyal donors recently at Har Zion Temple in Penn Valley during its 16th annual Circle of Partners celebration. The June 5 event paid tribute to men and women who have contributed to the annual campaign for more than 25 years, helping to sustain Jewish values and provide for the future of our Jewish community. This Circle includes more than 3,000 members, many of whom have also left a legacy to the Jewish community by including Federation in their wills or other estate-planning vehicles.
The Sally Mitlas Orchestra took the guests on a spirited journey of Jewish music throughout the ages, performing a varied program of Klezmer, jazz and other musical styles. The program gave Circle of Partners members a greater appreciation of the Jewish people's rich musical history and significant musical accomplishments.
Betsy and Bob Horen and Adele and Irwin Lipton are Circle of Partners co-chairs.
