Elyse graduated from the University of Hartford with a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology and special education. She earned a master’s degree in school psychology from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, where she is currently pursuing an education specialist’s degree while interning in the Wissahickon School District.

 

Brett attends the Temple University Fox School of Business, where he is working toward a degree in business and marketing.

 

Brett is the grandson of Zelda and Jack Kanoff of Audu­bon; and Eleanor Herman and the late Charles Herman. Elyse is the granddaughter of Rose and Harold Polin of Philadelphia, and Gloria and Sam Deutch of Fort Lee, N.J.

 

The couple, who lives in Meadowbrook, Pa., is planning a March 2014 wedding
