Hillary Steinberg and Peter Motelson of Fort Washington announce the birth of their son, Spencer Daniel (Simcha Daniel), on Aug. 16.

Sharing in their happiness are grandparents Robert and Shelley Steinberg of Princeton, N.J.; Linda Motelson of Tarrytown, N.Y.; and Stuart Motelson of New York City; along with many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Spencer is named in mem-ory of his great-grandmother Dorothy, and Holocaust victim Serge Szapiro, who was born on Feb. 20, 1940 and died in 1942.
