Carol and Dennis Freedman of Erdenheim announce the engagement of their daughter, Mindy Robin, to Dr. Scott Jared Davidoff, son of Dr. Steve and Barbra Davidoff of Cherry Hill, N.J.

Mindy graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications. She is currently working for NBC Universal in the national sales department in Bala Cynwyd.

Scott earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Emory University and a medical degree from the Temple University School of Medicine. He is a resident at Temple University Hospital, specializing in physical medicine and rehabilitation.

Mindy is the granddaughter of Eleanor Shuster and the late Stan Shuster of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; and Marian Diamond and the late Harry Diamond of Philadelphia. Scott is the grandson of Sylvia Davidoff and the late Milton Davidoff of Boca Raton, Fla.

The couple is planning an October 2006 wedding.
