Lisa (nee Sherman) and Bill Burnett of Center City announce the birth of their son, Jacob Sherman Burnett, on Sept. 8, 2004.

Sharing in their happiness is Jacob's sister, Rachel, as well as his grandparents, Cecily and Phil Sherman, also of Center City.

Jacob is named in loving memory of his paternal grandfather John D. Burnett and his maternal great-grandmother Rose Sherman.
