Kurt and Berta Schoen of Elkins Park and Delray Beach, Fla., celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Aug. 28 at Talamore at Oak Terrace. A luncheon was given in their honor by their children: Marcia and Steven Cherry, Michael and Suzanne Schoen, and Karen Schoen. Joining in the celebration were family, friends and the couple's grandchildren. Rabbi Adam Wohlberg officiated at the ceremony renewing the couple's marriage vows.
