Jessica (nee Sopinsky) and Brad Begelman, and big sister Sara, announce the birth of their son and brother, Reid Sloane (Leib Shmuel), on Dec. 28.

Sharing in their happiness are grandparents Lucille and Philip Sopinsky, and Rosalyn Begelman.

Joining in welcoming Reid are aunts and uncles Lisette and Brian Sopinsky, Barri and David Sopinsky, Natalie and Jordan Sopinsky, and Gillian and Schalk Radley; along with cousins Perry, Lonni, Farryl, Sruli, Zev and Madison.

Reid Sloane is named in loving memory of his maternal great-grandmother Lee Glick and his paternal great-uncle Samuel Epstein.
