The Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia's Center for Israel and Overseas supports vulnerable Jews in Israel and around the world. This past year, to aid at-risk Jews in Israel, Federation provided:

• $50,000 for a learning center for disadvantaged children;

• $100,000 for educational support for Ethiopian junior and senior high school students;

• $70,000 for programs for young disabled children and their teachers in Jerusalem, Haifa, Beersheva, Netivot and Sedot Negev (Israel Elwyn);

• $75,000 for health, food and housing services for impoverished seniors.
