Elise (nee Ansky) and Jason Aguilar of Jerusalem announce the birth of their daughter, Chana Meril, on March 9.

Sharing in their happiness are grandparents Susan and Mort Ansky of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., formerly of Broomall, and Evelyn Aguilar of Los Angeles; and great-grandmother Bertha Weider of Cleveland.

Joining in welcoming Chana are Aunt Dana Ansky, Aunt Stacie and Uncle Dan Blatnick, and cousin Julia.

Chana is named in loving memory of her maternal great-grandmothers Ann Polish and Minnie Ansky. She is also named in honor of great-grandfathers Ben Zion Weider, Herman Polish and Herman Ansky.
