Sheila and Jack Marshall of Huntingdon Valley, and Helen and Jeffrey Friedman of New York announce the engagement of their children, Nicole ("Niki") Sabrina Marshall and Edward ("Ed") Joseph Friedman.

Niki is a graduate of Abington Senior High School and Michigan State University. She is the public-relations manager for the American Kennel Club in New York.

Ed is a graduate of Milton Academy in Milton, Mass., and Georgetown University. He currently serves as assistant product manager for Nikon, Inc., in Melville, N.Y.

The couple, who lives in Manhattan, is planning a March wedding.
