Federation's Center for Social Responsibility made key allocations last year, in addition to other funding, for the 2004-05 program year to help partner organizations have impact on the Greater Philadelphia Jewish community's priorities.
The following are just some of those allocations:
• $2,197,928 to Jewish Family and Children's Service to help Jews at risk.
• $322,392 to the "Committee on the Jewish Poor" to award grants assisting low-income persons.
•$242,400 to the Madlyn and Leonard Abramson Center for Jewish Life to help seniors age with dignity.
• $370,454 to the Jewish Employment and Vocational Service to promote self-sufficiency.
