Melody and Craig Taylor of Cherry Hill, N.J., announce the marriage of their son, Adam, to Laurie Alexander, daughter of Lila and Gary Alexander of Merrick, N.Y.
The ceremony and reception took place on April 16 at the Oceanside Jewish Center in Oceanside, N.Y.
Rabbi Jeffrey M. Arnowitz of Congregation Beth El in Cherry Hill officiated.
Elyse Alexander, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids included Amy Rossano and Shira Taylor Gura, sisters of the groom; Lainie Miller; Lauren Kantor; Jen North; Alison Taylor; Andrea Fraser; Melissa Devack; Susie Wu; and Wendy Foote. Ayalah Gura, niece of the groom, served as flower girl.
Uri Geller was best man. Groomsmen included Barry Alexander, brother of the bride; Jeff Schajer, brother-in-law of the bride; Charlie Rossano and Boaz Gura, brothers-in-law of the groom; Jared Gelwarg; Michael Beifeld; and David Welling. Harrison Rossano, nephew of the groom, was the ring bearer.
Completing the wedding party were Rosalyn Nabson and Suzanne Taylor, grandparents of the groom.
Laurie is the granddaughter of the late Mania and Bernard Gems, and the late Hilda and Howard Alexander. Adam is the grandson of the late Irving Nabson and Harry Taylor.
The couple, who will enjoy a delayed honeymoon in Africa in August, lives in Philadelphia.
