Area children gave of their time and supplies to benefit Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia at a recent yard sale. From left: David Meles, a 4th grader at Abrams Hebrew Academy; Tova Weiss Meles and Ruthie Meles, a 5th grader at Abrams Hebrew Academy; Ethan Volin, a 5th grader studying at Beth Sholom Congregation Hebrew School, Irian Blitshtein Volin and Vanessa Volin, kindergarten, at Beth Sholom. The children donated toys, books, clothes, shoes and school supplies, bringing in $100, while attorneys Iriana Blitshtein and Tova Weiss chipped in an additional $150 to up the ante to $250.
