The Jack M. Barrack Hebrew School will host a day of learning for the community.
Session 1, set to begin at 2:15 p.m., will feature:
“Amichai’s Jerusalem” presented by Andrea Rock, Melton@Barrack [3] Director; English and Tanach Faculty
“Human Impact on the Environment: A Hot Topic for Debate,” presented by Darin Katz, Ph.D., Academic Dean; Rabbi Judd Kruger Levingston, Ph.D., Director of Jewish Studies
“Introduction to Rock Drumming” presented by Harrison Horowitz, Art Faculty
“Proving the Existence of God” presented by Barnett Kamen, Jewish Studies Faculty
Session 2, beginning at 3:15 p.m., will include:
“Fun With Math: Patty Paper Parabolic Play” presented by Bill Enos, Match Faculty
“It’s All Greek to Me: Jews in the Hellenistic Age” presented by Minna Ziskind, History Faculty
“Make a Mezzuzah” presented byLaura Lyn Stern, Art Faculty and Professional Artist
“The Rabbi and the Ugly Man (Taanit 20a)” presented by Elisha Stein, Jewish Studies Faculty
