Dr. and Mrs. David Bromberg of Cherry Hill, N.J., announce the engagement of their son, Scott Benjamin Bromberg, to Amanda Ilyse Schiff, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Howard Schiff of Sands Point, N.Y.

 

Scott earned a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting at Binghamton University. He is currently a certified public accountant with Ernst and Young.

 

Amanda graduated from Columbia College at Columbia University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and education. She is a fourth-grade teacher and is pursuing a master’s degree at Columbia University Teacher’s College.

 

Scott is the grandson of the late Esther and Samuel Polacoff of Philadelphia, and the late Minnie and Samuel Bromberg, also of Philadelphia. Amanda is the granddaughter of Charlotte and Edward Mathews of Glen Cove, N.Y.; and the late Mildred and Frank Schiff of Dix Hills, N.Y.

 

The couple is planning a June wedding in Roslyn, N.Y.
