Andi Dorfman is beautiful, smart and successful — and she will star in the newest season of The Bachelorette, a dating game show premiering soon on ABC.
"Am I dreaming?!? Insanely grateful, happy and most of all ready to find love!!! #cloudnine ," Dorfman, 26, posted on her Twitter account on March 10 after learning that she had been chosen.
Dorfman, who is Jewish and serves as an Assistant District Attorney in Atlanta, GA., will attempt to discover her soul mate from among 25 male suitor candidates when the new season debuts on May 19.
In last season's version of The Bachelor, the original show from which The Bachelorette derives, Dorfman was herself a candidate and won the heart of bachelor Juan Pablo Galavis.
Unfortunately for Galavis, Dorfman did not return the sentiment of love and rejected him.
She will continue to try her luck this season — except this time, she will be the one calling the shots.
