Law students from the Beasley School of Law’s Elderly Law Project at Temple University will offer free legal assistance and advice to area seniors 60 years and above at the Tabas Satellite Senior Center.
The Temple law students will be offering free legal assistance on topics from Social Security, SSI, Social Security Disability, pension benefits, Medicare, medical assistance, railroad benefits, public assistance, food stamps, nutrition, property taxes, rent rebates and PACE/PACENET prescription coverage as well information on energy assistance, long-term care planning, preparation of wills, living wills and health care powers of attorney.
These services are offered by appointment only. Legal advice will also be offered on March 26.
