Tikvah AJMI will honor Daniel Gottlieb, Ph.D., with its Righteous Persons Award at its annual luncheon at Temple Beth Hillel-Beth El from 11 am until 2 pm.
 
A psychologist in the Philadelphia area, Gottlieb also hosts an award-winning mental health call-in show called Voices in the Family on Philadelphia's NPR affiliate, WHYY.org/voices.  He is the author of Letters to Sam and Learning from the Heart, which have been published in 15 languages and received worldwide attention. In 2009, he was flown to Taiwan to receive their "Fervent Love of Life Award."  Gottlieb’s most recent book is Wisdom of Sam: Observations on Life By an Uncommon Child.  In addition to his contributions on The Huffington Post, Gottlieb writes a weekly blog for the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation.  A sought-after speaker on family and social issues, he lectures locally and nationally on a variety of topics affecting the well-being of communities.
With the Honorable Jonathan Saidel as Master of Ceremonies, Tikvah/AJMI will also be celebratingTamara Marcus and Rochelle Pressler as they receive individual awards.
