Ava and Michael Herskovitz of Philadelphia announce the engagement of their daughter, Julie Rae Herskovitz, to Ronald Edward Bush.

 

Julie earned a Bachelor’s of Art degree in theater from Temple University and a master’s degree in education from Arcadia University. She is currently pursuing a Master of Arts degree in English at Arcadia. Julie works as a library assistant and as an adjunct professor of composition at multiple universities.

 

Ron earned an associate’s degree in culture, science and technology from the Community College of Philadelphia. He is employed in count room operations at a local casino.

 

The couple met while performing in community theater with the Philadelphia Department of Recreation.

 

They are planning a January wedding in the Phila­delphia area.
