The Philadelphia Jewish Film Festival will open its 32nd season with a wonderful, wide variety of films to see this season and venues include The Gershman Y, The Ritz and Bryn Mawr Film Institute. The festival will run through November 18.

PJFF highlights and explores the diversity of the Jewish experience as portrayed in independent feature films and documentaries from around the globe. This season the festival will feature more than 20 feature-length films and shorts from countries including: Argentina, France, Germany, Israel, Poland, Russia, UK and USA.

The PJFF Fall Festival kicks off  on November 3  with The Day I Saw Your Heart, starring Mélanie Laurent of Inglourious Basterds. This quirky, dark dramedy offers an amusing glimpse into a French Jewish family’s quest for transformation and renewed love despite their differences. The Day I Saw Your Heart has garnered accolades from critics and has delighted audiences throughout the film festival circuit.
