June (nee Rocklin) and Melvin Robbins of Broomall will celebrate their respective birthdays in September. June will be 86-years-old on Sept. 20, while Melvin turned 88 on Sept. 10. The couple recently participated in the 2012 Delco Senior Games, where each medaled in several events. June attended the Clowns of America International Convention in Kansas City, Mo., as a member of the Mid-Atlantic Clown Association, representing Spiffy’s Gang clown troupe.

 

Their children are Gloria Joffre (the late Meir) of Havertown; Larry (Eve) of Glen Mills; Mitchel (Claudia) of Broomall; Sandy Avidin (Moshe) of Bensalem; Ted (Anna) of Media; Daniel (Luisa) of Broomall; and Eddie of Broomall. The Robbins have 18 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
