First U.S. Death Row Prisoner Exonerated By DNA Evidence to Speak in Bensalem
Kirk Bloodsworth, the first American sentenced to death row to be exonerated by DNA evidence, will speak on “Death Penalty: Comparison Perspectives of Modern and Jewish Law” with Rabbi Binyomin Mermelstein on June 4th.
Bloodsworth is the Director for Advocacy for Witness to Innocence is and this is his first ever Bucks County appearance. The lecture is sponsored by the Jewish Ethics Institute and 1 CLE Ethics Credit is available for attorneys.
Rabbi Mermelstein is the director of the Jewish Ethics Institute in Philadelphia.
