Sherry and Lee Kohn of Southampton, along with Miriam and Ionel Klipper of New York, N.Y., announce the marriage of their children, Rebekah Emily Kohn and Alexander Aaron Klipper.
The ceremony and reception took place on Sept. 9 at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts in Philadelphia.
Rabbi Elliot Pearlstein officiated.
Holly Mailman Steiner and Kerry O'Donnell Durst served as the maids of honor. Annie Laks, Natalie Stankunas and Shayna Kreisler were bridesmaids. In a twist on tradition, Josh Kohn, the bride's brother and Eric Rassman, served as bridesmen. Tanya Wang was the flower girl.
Nat Klipper, brother of the groom, was best man. Groomsmen were Benjamin Berentson, Jeremy Feffer, Jonathan Goldin, Liam Roth, Christian McFadden, Adam Walden and Jesse Ryan. In keeping with the twist on tradition, Tiffany Madigan served as the groomsgirl.
Completing the wedding party was the bride's aunt, Sabina Meritz-Grabener, walking in memory of the bride and groom's grandparents.
Holly Mailman Steiner, Burt Seigel, Jonathan Goldin and Jeremy Feffer witnessed the signing of the ketubah.
Rebekah and Alexander are the grandchildren of the late Pearl and Nathan Meritz, Helen and Harry Kohn, Fannie and Max Zeldner, and Lucie and Nathan Klipper.
After a honeymoon to Bora Bora and Moorea in Tahiti, the couple lives in Palo Alto, Calif.
