Ann and Allan Sagot of Cherry Hill, N.J.; and Goni and David Vardi of Upper Saddle River, N.J., announce the engagement of their children, Jonathan Lawrence Sagot and Karen Vardi.
Jonathan is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University with a bachelor’s degree in finance. He earned a Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from the New York University School of Law, where he was elected to the Order of the Coif. He currently practices law at Davis & Gilbert LLP.
Karen is a graduate of Brandeis University with a bachelor’s degree in economics, cum laude. She is also holds a Master of Business Administration degree in international economics and finance from the Brandeis University International Business School. Karen is currently a vice president with The Royal Bank of Scotland plc.
The couple, who lives in New York City, is planning an April 2013 wedding.
