Alvin and Beverly Carp of Broomall, and Ellis and Susan Luken of Blue Bell announce the marriage of their children, Eric Howard Carp and Rachael Miriam Luken.
The ceremony and reception took place on Sept. 1 at the Union League in Philadelphia.
Rabbi Harold Waintrup officiated.
Donna Davis, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor. Lisa Mittelman, granddaughter of the rabbi, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids included Jackie Schwartz, sister of the groom; and Heidi Carp and Laney Carp, sisters-in-law of the groom. Junior bridesmaids were Halle and Alexa Davis, nieces of the bride; along with Morgan and Melanie Schwartz, and Rachel Carp, nieces of the groom.
Brian and Stephen Carp, brothers of the groom, were best men. Groomsmen were Michael Schwartz, brother-in-law of the groom; Evan Davis, brother-in-law of the bride; Darren, Alan and Ira Gubernick, cousins of the groom; Jeff Daley; and Max Carp, nephew of the groom. Ring bearers were Seth and Sammy Carp, nephews of the groom.
Completing the wedding party was Sylvia Hopman, grandmother of the bride.
Eric is the grandson of the late Beatrice and Max Lipson, and Anna Carp Fiddleman, and Jack Carp. Rachel is the granddaughter of the late Jules and Dorothy Hopman, and Sylvia and Harry Luken.
The signing of the ketubah was witnessed by Katy Kristiansson, and Martin Gubernick, uncle of the groom.
After a honeymoon in Greece, the couple lives in Media.
