Marty Manson of Huntingdon Valley and Arthur Matusow of Ardmore announce the engagement of their daughter, Adina Leah Matusow, to Benjamin Ivor Davies, son of Jaffa and David Davies of Barrington, R.I.
Adina graduated from George Washington University with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice and journalism. While attending Gratz College to obtain a master's degree in Jewish communal service and nonprofit management, she wrote a singles column for the Jewish Exponent. Adina is the program director for Nassau County's Outreach and Membership Training Institute, and the coordinator of the "Introduction to Judaism" program at the Union for Reform Judaism.
Benjamin, a graduate of St. Lawrence University with a bachelor's degree in philosophy and sociology, holds a Master of Science degree in nonprofit/nongovernmental management and leadership from the University of Pennsylvania. He is a strategic planning and management consultant for nonprofit and government initiatives with Cope and Associates Inc. Benjamin also partners with a variety of nonprofit entrepreneurs to develop sustainable business plans.
Adina is the granddaughter of Leonard Block and the late Sylvia Block, and the late Florence and Eli Matusow. Benjamin Davies is the grandson of Leah Greenblatt and the late Benjamin Kessler, and David and Betty-Louise Davies.
The couple is planning a May wedding in Merion.
