Gail and Joel Cooperman of Lafayette Hill, and Alice and Larry Reichenberg of East Rockaway, N.Y., announce the engagement of their children, Shari Elana Cooperman and David Harris Reichenberg.
Shari is a second-year student at the Columbia Business School. She will earn an MBA in May, and will join Bain & Company as a consultant the following fall. Prior to business school, she worked for four years at Ruder Finn, a global public-relations firm, most recently as a senior account executive in their New York City office. Shari graduated with magna cum laude honors from George Washington University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in marketing and a minor in communications.
David is an associate in the New York City-based law office of Axinn, Veltrop & Harkrider LLP, specializing in anti-trust and complex litigation. He holds a Juris Doctor degree from Fordham University School of Law, where he served as an editor for the Fordham Urban Law Journal. David graduated with honors and distinction from Cornell University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in policy analysis and management.
Shari is the granddaughter of Rose and Sam Cooperman; Gloria and Jay Myer; Harriet Tarlow; the late Shirley Cooperman and the late Alfred Tarlow. David is the grandson of Miriam Coren, Marian Reichenberg; the late Arnold Coren; and the late Albert Reichenberg.
The couple, who lives in New York City, is planning an August wedding in Old City Philadelphia.
