Liza (nee Kaplan) and Michael Pollner of New Hope, along with big sister Kayla and big brother Alex, announce the birth of their son and brother, Jake Maxwell (Yadid Matan), on Nov. 4. Jake's Hebrew name means "beloved gift."

Sharing in their happiness are grandparents Barbara and Cantor Mark Elson, and Roz and Joel Pollner, all of Holland, Pa.; along with great-grandmother Marsha Elson of Marietta, Ga. Jake is also the great-grandson of the late Anna and Albert Stolinsky, Dinah and Jack Verker, Anna and Milton Pollner, and Alvin Elson.

Joining in welcoming the new addition are Uncle Mike Kaplan; Uncle Dan, Aunt Jessica and cousin Jordon Pollner; Uncle Andy and Aunt Nicki Pollner; along with many other relatives and friends.

Jake is named in loving memory of his paternal great-grandfathers, Jack Verker and Milton Pollner.
