Polish Jews: Then & Now

January 26, 2014 10:00 AM

Participate in an engaging conversation with Professor Michael Steinlauf, examining the culture of Eastern European Jews from whom the vast majority of American Jews are descended. Also learn about current attempts to revive Jewish life in Poland, a country where half the Jews of Europe once lived and where the greatest progress has been made toward integrating the memory and the reality of Jews into national consciousness. FREE for GJC Hazak members (it’s just $10 to join!) and $5 for guests. Please RSVP to [email protected] or 215.844.1507 X19.
