April 8, 2013 12:00 PM-1:30 PM

Keynote speaker Susan Bendetz Plitt. Susan was born in Budapest, Hungary and was a young child during the Holocaust. She and her mother ran from hiding place to hiding place in order to survive. After the formal program, prayers will be offered at the Holocaust Memorial, just outside the State Office Building.

Yom HaShoah is sponsored by the Halina Wind Preston Holocaust Education Center, in partnership with The Jewish Federation of Delaware and The Delaware Rabbinical and Cantor’s Association.
