The Maccabi USA Board of Directors elected Jeff Bukantz of Montville, N.J., to serve as president for the next four years. Bukantz has been involved with Maccabi since 1981, when he participated in the fencing portion of the Maccabiah Games. He later served as fencing chairman for the World Maccabiah Games in 1986 and joined the board in 1993, a position he has held ever since. Other elected locals include vice presidents Tonja Magerman of Blue Bell and Lou Moyerman of Philadelphia.
