Louis J. Soslowsky, an orthopedic researcher at the University of Pennsylvania and a member of the Temple Beth Hillel-Beth El Board of Directors, received the H.R. Lissner Medal from the American Society of Mechanical Engineers. ASME chose Soslowsky for his contributions toward the understanding, prevention and treatment of musculoskeletal injuries and his internationally recognized leadership in the biomechanics community.
