I take issue with the Exponent’s negative characterization of Amichai Chikli, Israel’s minister for diaspora affairs (“Amichai Chikli: Minister of Confrontation,” June 29). The Exponent cites him for calling the Palestinian Authority a neo-Nazi entity and referring to J Street as a hostile organization that harms the interests of the state of Israel. Throw in Chikli’s accusation against George Soros for financing the most hostile organizations to the Jewish people and you have a hat trick.
Any objective research into the activities of all three of these entities would produce the same conclusion. As for Chikli not being “woke,” why is it such a crime for someone to speak for traditional values?

In the September 14 issue the article about Jared Armstrong, the young black basketball player who converted to Judaism, and wanted to raise $50,000 to pay for future basketball camps . These camps are for Blacks and Jewish youth. He has already funded several others out of his own pocket. The article does not give a way to contribute to his fund. Do you have information so that those of us who would like to contribute know where to send the money?
