(Editorial, Aug. 28)
In your editorial about the risks Israel faces in its offensive in Gaza City you listed all the ramifications of this decision. But you failed to discuss the “if not” side. What happens if Israel decides not to attack?
Time is on Hamas’ side with the Western countries putting more pressure on Israel every day. A standstill is not a solution. After Oct. 7, Israel declared war on Gaza (Hamas) and the war will end with a cease-fire that both countries agree on. Israel seeks the removal of Hamas and will go about it until it is achieved.
