Susan and Peter Kursman of Haverford, and Margie and Barry Levinthal of Wynnewood announce the engagement of their children, Alexander Louis Kursman to Aubrey Caryn Levinthal.

Alex, a graduate of the Temple University Law School, currently works at the Federal Defenders Office in Delaware.

Aubrey is a recent graduate of the master's program at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts.

Aubrey is the granddaughter of Harriet Levinthal and the late Harrold Levinthal; and the late Catherine and Earnest Gault. Alex is the grandson of Harriet Lawner and the late Herman Lawner; and Daniel Kursman and the late Eleanor Kursman.

Sharing in their happiness are siblings Carly Kursman, Nick and Lindsay Kursman, and Rob Levinthal; as well as grandparents Harriet Lawner, Harriet Levinthal and Daniel Kursman.

The couple is planning a June 2012 wedding.
