Doris Haber, age 88, passed away on August 27, 2013 in Delray Beach, FL after an extended illness. Born in Haddonfield, NJ, Doris was the daughter of the late Emma and Herman Kravitz. She moved to Kennett Square, PA, in 1950 with her husband Charles and a short time later they moved into their house on Scarlett Avenue. From 1961 to 1989 she and Charles were the proprietors of the Haber-Pyle Bi-lo Market in West Grove, PA, where she could always be found behind the check-out counter conversing with customers. For many years she taught Religious School at the Beth Israel Synagogue in Coatesville, PA. After their retirement in 1989, she and Charles began wintering in Delray Beach, FL, moving there full-time in 2007. She was devoted to her husband, children, and grandchildren as well as her extended family and friends.
Survivors: Charles, her husband of 66 years; sons Jeffrey (Sandy) of Boxborough, MA; Kerry (Becky) of Media, PA; and Scott (Sherry) of Hillsborough, CA; and six grandchildren.
