Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications from Pennsylvania State University. She is an executive recruiter with the Execu|Search Group in Manhattan.

Jacob is also a graduate of Pennsylvania State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in health policy and administration. He is an investment management consultant with FactSet Research Systems in Manhattan.

Jennifer is the granddaughter of Shirley and Irving Wenger, and Doris Kessler and the late Charles Kessler. Jacob is the grandson of the late Rebecca and Harry Rudin, and the late Ruth and Benjamin Nyman.

Sharing in their happiness is Jennifer's brother Jonathan.

The couple, who met in high school, lives in Manhattan.

They are planning a May wedding in Philadelphia.
